Alcohol Awareness Week raises awareness

About one in three people will be involved in a drunk driving crash during their lifetime according to a DUI statistics in the Biodiversity data journal. This is an eye opening and terrifying number but Sonoma State is doing its part to try and lower it.

SSU Blood Drive saves lives

Come learn at the Filipino feminist lecture

Women’s rights have been an ongoing issue for nearly 70 years, but there has been a far greater emphasis on the topic now more than ever. Sonoma State University has made it a goal to empower women and educate people by hosting various different feminist lecture series. On Mon. Sept. 23 there will be another feminist lecture series which will focus in on the historical roots as well as the opression of Filipino women.

On Wednesday Aug. 28, Sonoma State University will be hosting a Seawolf Part Time Job, Internship and Service Fair at the Salazar Plaza. It will begin at 11:00 p.m. and will end at 2:00 p.m. This is the first year where the job fair has combined with the Center for Community Engagements which offers different internships and services to Sonoma State students.
