The Trump administration has blocked Biden’s coronavirus response team from accessing government offices, secure communication lines, and classified coronavirus briefings, an action that has prompted responses from several Republican senators, exhibiting divergence within the Republican Party. “I don’t think they need to know everything,” said Republican Senator Roy Blunt of Missouri, according to the New York Times.

Lockdowns reinforced in Europe

In the early stages of the Coronavirus pandemic, Germany was Europe’s prime example of an ‘anti-covid’ model. Recently, the country has decided to enforce a one-month shutdown of all bars, restaurants, theaters and fitness centers to cut down on the number of total cases that continue to increase globally. Other European countries are also starting to lockdown, such as France, which starts their lockdown on Friday, Oct. 30.
