Campus fashion watch: winter edition

With the help of cold weather and final exams, it’s easy to slump right into leggings and an oversized sweatshirt. I‘m here to remind the female students at Sonoma State University that looking chic, trendy and put-together is not as difficult and tedious as it’s hyped up to be in students’ head. Clothing is a representation of how one would like to be portrayed at a first sight so swing by the local mall to pick up some items represented by my favorite winter trends.

Seawolves gear up for finals week

As the semester comes to a close, one obstacle stands between students and the holiday fun to be had over winter break, and that’s finals. As final exams loom nearer, students’ stress levels rise. To combat high stress during this time, Sonoma State University is providing stress-relieving fun at the Student Center.

Mental health awareness week will promote wellness

Starting Nov. 9 and wrapping up Nov. 13, Sonoma State University will be hosting Mental Health Awareness Week. Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) will be hosting this event in collaboration with various other groups including Campus Life, The HUB, Associated Student Productions, Student Affairs, Rec Sports, Residence Life, Peer Mentors and the Student Health Center. 

 

Midnite Madness promises to be bigger than ever

Sonoma State basketball kicks off the 2015-2016 season with Midnite Madness in the Wolves’ Den on Wednesday. Attendees can enjoy giveaways, prizes and performances from the Sonoma State Sapphires, cheer team, athletic teams and a professional dunk team. 

 

Safety week hopes to educate students
