As students in college, communication is key with friends and organizations whether it is through phone calls, texting or emailing, and even social media. However, one of the pitfalls to having multiple kinds of smartphones operating on different platforms is that it often causes problems when trying to text multiple people.
Students who have been using the Recreation Center have previously been provided free lockers to store their belongings in while working out or using other facilities. However, those students using the lockers will soon realize that starting Nov. 22, the lockers will no longer be free for use.
One would never fathom the thought that going to a party in college and drinking excessively would result in serious injuries or worse, death. That is what Sam Spady, former college student at Colorado State University, thought before going to a party one night on Sept. 5, 2004.
The Writers at Sonoma series poetry fest, Voices from the Postmodern American Poetry Anthology, took place at Weill Hall on Oct. 15 where students, faculty and staff enjoyed readings from 13 critically acclaimed poets.
For the eighth year, Campus MovieFest, the world’s largest student film festival, was brought to Sonoma State University for students to produce and film their very own genre movie.
