In the all-so isolated campus and community where we walk on broken glass when trying to find new things to do that entertain us outside of classes, there was an exciting event happening on Sonoma State’s campus. Where the usual student can find no new exciting adventure to embark on, or find an inviting new anything, there was talk about student films being made with free rentable state-of-the-art equipment. This hype has had Sonoma State’s campus and the community wondering what has been going on.
There was a lot of hype around Sonoma last Thursday. With so much going on around SSU’s campus, the Rohnert Park community and in students’ individual lives, the Associated Students Productions in collaboration with On Campus Presents (OCP) presented Sonoma County with the amazing and talented Shangri-La Chinese Acrobats.
With the start of fall everyone is getting into the swing of things and Sonoma can now see the leaves change; Homecoming is upon Sonoma State. By visiting the Associated Students Facebook page, students can see what SSU has in store for Homecoming 2013.
Students usually don’t want to find a part-time job where the hours aren’t ideal, or the commute conflicts with classes, the chance of studying or social time. That’s why students often find great pleasure when they land an on-campus job, especially if they find the opportunity to grow each day is an important factor to the employers.
Sonoma State students were able to let off a lot of the first month’s stress of classes and all of the other crazy stuff life has for them on Saturday, Sept. 21.
