Associated Students pulls out the big guns with Waka Flocka

Sonoma State University Associated Student Productions has been working endlessly to provide students with the best Spring Fling yet. Following up last year’s Spring Fling that featured rap artist IamSu, this year ASP is stepping up their game. Top-charting artist Waka Flocka Flame is scheduled to perform at the annual Spring Fling on May 13 in the Student Center Ballroom.

Students go bonkers for boba

Just about a mile from campus on Southwest Blvd, a new tea, smoothie, boba and snack shop opened up called Quickly. 

It’s more than just any average tea shop. It has every kind of smoothie, shake and tea flavor a student could ask for, and for a great price as well.

When one enters the door, there are four TV screens on the wall. Two with music videos of recent pop songs and two with photos the menu.

Lip Jam expected to have rasied record amount for the Alpha Gamma Delta Foundation

Hours of practice, crafting and more practice for one, five-minute performance. Twelve organizations gave it their all for Alpha Gamma Delta’s 24th annual Lip Jam last Friday in front of an audience of 1,600.

Stress-free fun before midterms

Sonoma State University Student Center and Recreation Center opened their doors with games, food, crafts and more for students to enjoy.
Students entered each building with options on every floor. Starting on the first floor of the Student Center, there was karaoke, free food and a balloon drop for students to win NomaNation gifts or gift cards to local places.

Spring Club Fair gets students involved

Flyers were out, tables were set up and students were lining up as over 55 clubs and organizations set up tables to recruit some new members at the Spring Club Fair. 

Hundreds of students signed up to find people with similar interests as them, and see what organizations Sonoma State University has to offer.
