“We welcome all students, staff, and faculty to come check out the LARC, enjoy some food and see what LARC programs have been doing this semester,” said LARC director Loriann Negri. The event is targeting all members of the campus community for celebration.

“I like the mix of wild with domestic” Tucker said. “I think it speaks about the unpredictability of the untamed, as opposed to the solidarity bred and familiar characteristics of the domestic animal.”

The legislation is the first of its kind that will advance statewide emergency alert standards that all of California’s 58 counties can adopt. “Statewide emergency alert standards will be developed, training for local emergency managers will be implemented and we will be investing in a more proactive and effective mutual aid response system,” McGuire said in a statement.

The Disney-inspired winter wonderland put on every year by Rohnert Park’s very own Scott Weaver is making its last appearance. Weaver has decided that it’stime to move on.

The tension and disappointment spread all across the state as Californians filled the streets with signs and banners, including Sonoma State University’s campus.

Segregated housing arrangements are now available for California State University Los Angeles, (CSLA) black students. 

It is considered “a safe space for black CSLA students.” The College Fix, states that the university’s Black Student Union responded to the recurring “racist attacks” and “racially insensitive remarks” by professors and students with a set of demands that lead to this “new cheaper alternative housing solution for black students.”

Cal State LA isn’t the first to offer its students segregated housing dedicated to black students.
