There have been rumors on campus recently that SSU may be eliminating plastic purchases from campus. 

Everyone knows someone who is a fair weather fan. They’re the person who you had no idea even liked sports, and who begin to wear a jersey or the team’s logo just because they make the playoffs. Yet they cannot even name the starting players. 

Whether you use it or not, Pinterest is a familiar term to many in this day and age. From fashion to DIY and house decorating, it would seem as if Pinterest has something for everyone’s interests. 

Registration at SSU is approaching in late November, and many students wonder how they can better their registration experience, or prepare themselves to be more successful through registration this upcoming semester. Although some students have had good luck with registration, others haven’t had the luxury of being so fortunate during the process. Luckily, there are options for SSU students to better prepare themselves for when registration strikes again. 

Sept. 6 was a sad day for SSU; the news of Professor Terry Wright’s death quickly spread around campus leaving many deeply saddened to hear this alarming news. However, Wright will always be remembered at SSU for many reasons, and those who knew him will forever boast about his uplifting personality and the kind of professor, coworker, and friend that he was.

When the name Larry Allen is mentioned around Sonoma State University, a sense of pride is brought upon the students not only for his incredible legend that he has left behind, but also for his generous donations made to our university. He has journeyed from Compton, California, through community college, and to the NFL. All while going through this incredible path he has created a lasting name for himself and made great achievements all through hard work and dedication.
