This past Friday, “Shut In,” a bland thriller, premiered to give its audience a couple of spooks that borrowed from other classic films, but left viewers wondering why they didn’t stay home and watch some reruns on Bravo instead.
Hip-hop legend and television icon Ice-T, spoke to an audience last Friday at Sonoma State University’s Green Music Center about his journey from struggles with gangs, to his successes in film.
New technologies are introduced to the world on a seemingly regular basis. Classrooms seem to still be in the past though, with whiteboards being old-school, two-dimensional and potentially dismissal to some students who are taking online classes.
Jan. 1 is no longer the first day to begin applying for the Free Application for Federal Student Aid, also known as FAFSA. Recent changes to FASFA will now allow students to complete financial aid forms as early as Oct. 1 and use the previous year’s tax return.
