It's the time of year to vote for your favorite places for our Best of 2017 issue!

One would be hard pressed to find an empty seat in the sold- out show. Students jumped out of their seats to applaud the woman they had been counting down the seconds to see. Laverne Cox spoke at the Green Music Center last Thursday. She spoke as a part of the Women in Leadership lecture series.

Words can be so much more harmful than one could imagine. Recently, a YouTuber by the name of Nicole Arbour uploaded a video called “Dear Fat People” which immediately created a huge controversy. In her video, she claimed that body and fat shaming simply didn’t exist, and such claims are the “race card of fat people.”
