Sports Club Program to change management in July

The Center for Student Leadership, Involvement and Service (CSLIS) is preparing to take on 23 sports clubs in addition to the 180 organizations they already manage at Sonoma State. This change is an attempt to include all student life clubs under one management. But to the athletes of Sonoma State, it is a concerning adjustment.

Athletes seek solution for Sports Club Programs

For many of the athletes and supervisors of Sonoma State sports clubs, there is quite a large transition in motion. On July 1, the Center for Student Leadership, Involvement & Service (CSLIS) will become responsible for all campus sports clubs. Students, staff and other Sonoma State community members in attendance of the Associated Students meeting on Friday discussed changing the supervision of all sports clubs from Campus Recreation Sports Club program to CSLIS offices.

Lip Jam 2014: ‘America’s Best Dance Crew’

Every seat was occupied at the Green Music Center on Friday for Alpha Gamma Delta’s (AGD) philanthropy event: Lip Jam 2014. Thirteen sororities and fraternities had been practicing their choreographed, themed routines for the past three months in support of the Alpha Gamma Delta Foundation, which raises money for diabetes education and awareness.
