“Dumb and Dumber To” strikes yet again as another moronic film filled with overly exaggerated, pointless humor. This is the third movie in the series, following the original, “Dumb and Dumber” and “Dumb and Dumberer.”

‘Interstellar’: Less than satisfying

Interstellar wasn’t as stellar as it has been hyped up to be. The sci-fi movie, written and directed by Christopher Nolan, had aspects that made it interesting and intriguing, but many parts were confusing and the movie seemed to drag on.

The road to honesty

“The Importance of Being Earnest” shows just that – how telling a lie can ultimately cause more problems than it’s worth. Written by Oscar Wilde, this play follows two young men who are on the pursuit of marrying two women, who are both determined to marry a man with the name of Earnest.

Brown’s soulful new direction

The constant media coverage of the many problems in Brown’s personal life detracts from the fact that he has been and continues to be one of the most popular hit-makers currently.

Aiko not quite ‘souled out’

R&B singer Jhené Aiko, is known for her smooth soulful voice - in the lyrics, rhythm, beats and tone of her voice. Her new album, “Souled Out” is just that – full of soul. Released Tuesday, this album truly encompasses who Aiko is as an artist and what she is trying to convey to the world.

Art gallery displays the abstract, the unique

Laughter and chatter fill the air as gallery-goers get their first glance at “The Third Dimension” art exhibit currently on display in the University Art Gallery. This display features four sculptors from both the Bay Area and New Mexico. Each artist has their own unique and very different style, yet are similar in the way that they all love to create sculptures and abstract pieces of art.

The demonic catacombs of Paris

When  looking for an intriguing and horrifyingly gruesome spine-chiller, “As Above, So Below” will surely not disappoint. This “found-footage” film tells the tale of a team of young explorers who venture into the forbidden ancient catacombs of Paris, France to find the legendary philosopher’s stone, which is said to possess enchanting powers. Scarlett Marlowe (Perdita Weeks) the vivacious adventure-seeking, alchemist leader of the group along with her partner, George (Ben Feldman), and videographer Benji (Edwin Hodge), team up with Papillon (François Civil), Souxie (Marion Lambert) and Zed (Ali Marhyar), adventurers from Paris who have experience exploring the Catacombs, in order to find the stone. After entering the sacred grounds, turning back was not an option and the group was forced to face whatever lay within.

A Tribute to Charlie Brown

With the grand opening of Schroeder Hall, the Green Music Center has been abuzz with concert-goers eager for a fresh new musical experience. Since the opening of Weill Hall in 2012, Schroeder Hall has been a structure in the background on the Sonoma State University campus that many have always been curious about.
