Sonoma State University recently received a grant for 1.3 million dollars for its underrepresented minorities in the STEM majors at SSU , according to Nate Galvan, Marketing and Media Specialist at Sonoma State University. “Sonoma State University is in line to receive $1.3 million in conjunction with three other colleges as part of a project to close equity and achievement gaps in science, technology, engineering and mathematics fields.” said Galvan.
