Kaili Spooner is a fourth-year Communication and Media Studies major at Sonoma State University, and is deeply passionate about sports journalism. With three years of experience in Studio Blue, where she currently serves as the News Producer, and a year of writing for The STAR, she now manages social media for the university’s newspaper. Kaili aspires to become an NBA/WNBA sideline reporter, believing that her background as an athlete and her love for sports media will help her bridge the connection between fans and athletes, offering viewers a deeper understanding of athletes’ stories, the coaches, and the game. When she’s not focused on journalism, Kaili can be found at The Wolves’ Den, the athletics gym, where she plays for the Sonoma State University Volleyball Team.
