On Wednesday, Sept. 23, California Governor Gavin Newsom passed an executive order banning the sale of all new gas-powered cars by the year 2035. Used and pre-owned cars may continue on the market, but this push puts a timer on dealerships to begin phasing out gas for electric or hybrid vehicles.
