Dear Editor,
I, a 74-year-old local, managed to get in Cheryl Strayed lecture to freshmen at the Green Music Center.
When I got home, I realized I had lost my wallet, most likely while at the lecture. Friday morning I called lost and found who referred me to Lori Hercs, administrator at the Green Music Center.
She said, “What is your name and color of the wallet?” Then, “Yes, we have it here. A student turned it in.”
A few hours later, so relieved – you know all those credit cards, driver’s license, IDs, etc., not to mention money.
All were in the wallet. Including the $300+ in cash.
It speaks well of you. I thought you’d like to hear.
